Place one hand under quilt, insert extra fine needle through all layers then, with needle between two fingers, press trigger to insert tacks. Start around edge then every 2" from the top to bottom with rows about 4" apart. Work from sides to center. Remove tacks after quilting. The ultra-fine needle leaves a minimal hole in your fabric.
